Project Objective
Supporting the planning and preparation and development of strategic and policy framework for pre-accession/accession assistance and the creation development of mature projects with a full set of project documentation in accordance with EU procedures for Programming and Procurement Rules.
Project Approach
Project implementation and achievement of envisaged results and main outputs ensured better management, programing and higher absorption capacity (as the extent to which a state is able to fully spend the allocated financial resources in an effective and efficient way), as well as functioning and performance of public administration on all levels in accordance with principles of efficiency and effectiveness. In this way we are sure that implementation of this project will further strengthen indirect management and improve the management of the EU funds in Serbia, especially IPA, but also provide contribution in the overall good governance of the state institutions and progress within the European integration process of the country (especially Chapter 22) and its socio-economic development.
Project Results
- Result 1: Document on ‘Needs of the Republic of Serbia for International Assistance 2014-17 with projections until 2020’ (NAD) structurally adjusted, updated and redrafted.
- Result 2: Relevant planning and programming documents (i.e. Sector Planning Documents, Acton documents, Operational programmes) prepared in accordance with the EC programming timeline.
- Result 3: Defined direction of post 2020 EU budget developments and supported initial design of planning and programming documents for post 2020 period.
- Result 4: Technical documentation for infrastructure projects to be financed through the EU funds prepared in accordance with the Serbian legal requirements and EU standards and norms.
- Result 5: Capacities of national institutions /organisations involved in planning and programming of EU assistance strengthened.
