Project Objective
Overall objective is to assist the Serbian administration to effectively manage EU integration and pre-accession assistance in order to speed up preparations for EU membership.
The purpose of the project is to assist Serbian administration and to build up their technical and administrative capacities through the developing and preparing transport and environment infrastructure projects

Project Approach
The EU PPF – Project Preparation Facility (EU PPF8) will support the Ministry of European Integration in the implementation of the Single Project Pipeline, in the preparation of relevant infrastructure projects, technical documentation in the environment and transport sectors according to the national Law which is regulating the area of planning and construction, relevant bylaws and EU standards and norms. Providing specific expertise leading to fully prepared project documentation for transport and environment priority infrastructure investment projects derived from the Single Project Pipeline, respecting the needs and requirements of the relevant national authorities (e.g line ministries responsible for transport and environment sectors, Public utility companies and local self-government authorities).
Project Results
Result 1.Technical and tender documentation prepared for infrastructure projects related to the environment and transport sectors (total number of projects 6 with a total investment value of around €700 million Euros):
Result 2. Strengthened capacities related to preparation and implementation of the infrastructure projects of the main stakeholders in environment and transport sectors through implementation of the tailored capacity building programme.
