In line with the identified needs and opportunities of the Ghanaian health system to strengthen NCD prevention and management, the project Aya – Integrated Healthcare Initiative seeks to enhance the Ghanaian health system capacity, structures, and processes for NCD prevention and management, specifically for CVDs and Diabetes II. The Aya Project builds on the successfully completed Ghana Heart Initiative (GHI) that sought to strengthen the prevention and management of cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) in Ghana.
