Cancellation Expert Meeting on AI and TVET

Dear all,

Sometimes a decision is difficult, even though it's actually the right one.

Despite our best efforts, the number of registrations for the Expert Meeting on AI and TVET – Building and (Re-)Construction for Sustainable Development, which was scheduled for November 10-11, 2026 in Magdeburg, unfortunately fell short of our expectations.

It is therefore with a heavy heart that we have decided to cancel the event.

We want to be honest with you: this decision was not an easy one for us. We have invested a great deal of time, energy and passion in preparing the event and were very much looking forward to meeting you in person and engaging in discussions together. We regret all the more that it won't work out this time.

At the same time, we do not want to hold an event if we cannot deliver what we set out to achieve: a lively and meaningful exchange among all stakeholders. Given the limited number of participants and the considerable effort involved in preparing and running the event – particularly on the part of our speakers – we feel that going ahead under these circumstances would not do justice to everyone’s commitment.

A very heartfelt thank you to everyone who has already registered and set aside time to participate. We truly appreciate your interest and are confident that another opportunity will arise for us to welcome you in person and continue our discussions.

If you have any questions or thoughts you would like to share, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us at any time.

Warm regards from the organising team
