Context:

The Indian Government is seeking to ensure that the needs of women and girls are given greater consideration in climate resilient urban services.

Objective:

Women and girls in selected cities are benefiting from climate resilience in waste management and the circular economy, as well as from safe, green public spaces.

Approach:

The project implements demonstration projects which reduce waste, re-use raw materials or increase surface greening. The solutions can then also be applied in other Indian cities.
